At this point, all is said and done. Iron Man is dead in the MCU. The hero who started this whole thing is no more and leaves a hole that is hard to fill. He’s been with us through the rough times and when the world was on the verge of collapse. He saved the city of New York and stopped a villain from decimating the entire universe for a new one. It’s hard not to imagine how big of a role Tony had in the MCU, and if this video by Emergency Awesome is something to go by, Marvel could consider bringing Tony back into the MCU.
The video makes an argument over Joe Rogan’s podcast interview with Robert Downey Jr. The questions he asked revolved around many projects RDJ was involved in, his past and all of that, but his major questions were asked about his role in the MCU. Rogan gave a compelling argument that Marvel could realize a potential money loss from leaving an entire Universe without Iron Man. The idea could have a significant impact in the years that follow.
There are several ways Marvel can devise a plan. Iron Man could return through a time machine for a limited time. He could appear as a hologram like he did in Endgame, or he could have a successor, like a young, different Iron Man to take his place. There’s a chance Marvel could consider all these things, even as we speak, but their plans will remain to be seen as time progresses. In the meantime, it seems there’s a high likelihood Mr Stark could return to the MCU.
