According to a report by the Redanian Intelligence, it appears the Netflix show, The Witcher, will be joining other shows across the world in stopping their production to curb coronavirus concerns. This comes shortly after news appeared online that the show will continue production in Europe despite coronavirus concerns.
The news was passed on to the team through email stating that the show will stop production all through the next two weeks and will halt until further notice. Production was supposed to end around August as scheduled. This delay will shift the date even further down the line. The Witcher was set to release in 2021 after a year-long haitus.
Other shows and festivals across the world are following the same reaction. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a stir across many industries. From film, to TV to even sports and festivals, the coronavirus scare has caused a major disruption. Reports are still coming in, with major travel bans being imposed to contain it. Major infectious zones are seeing response teams working hours to treat patients. Many have managed to recover from the disease, but there are also death counts being reported.
The containment and treatment is set to continue for quite some time and it appears we will continue to see measures being taken to ensure people’s safety.
